NVIDIA’s Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) was once the gold standard for performance, but DLSS 5 has officially entered the "uncanny valley." What was meant to be a revolution in clarity has devolved into a series of bizarre AI hallucinations.The community is calling it a massive fail. Instead of just adding pixels, the neural  network is now "reimagining" assets with terrifying results. 

Rather than preserving artistic intent, DLSS 5 seems to prioritize AI-generated complexity over accuracy. From turning simple sketches into physical objects to "enhancing" characters with unwanted anatomical changes, the technology has lost its way. It’s no longer upscaling; it’s rewriting the game—and the results are a total mess.
